Even if you love or hate B-Spec, why can't you pause ?

I've been wondering why you cannot pause the game during B-Spec, it's not a big deal, but still, why can't we ?

And before someone starts with a theory to explain to me how the game works and what I can do and cannot do, I've been playing since launch day (GT5).

I agree there should be a pause feature for every offline race, A-spec or B-spec.

But I have noticed that some of the recent game updates allow us to choose various B-spec race settings and parameters, including pit strength percentage. Getting used to this new stuff might be a pain in the butt and take some time, but once somebody is used to it, I bet it's invaluable. In fact, with enough familiarity, I bet these new features might actually eliminate any need to pause a B-spec endurance race because Bob will pit exactly when he is supposed to. Not sure if this adds anything but I wanted to chime in with some thoughts.

Except some seasonal races have laps where the Bobs pit automaticaly, ruining any kind of strategy if you go away and they pit when they're supposed to.. I don't know about normal b-spec though.

Hmm, been playing since launch eh, I would have thought that by now then you would know we cannot answer why Kaz made the game this way. I suggest you tweet him for your answer.
