Does anyone know why certain Events are impossible with controller on Professional Physics? I am talking mainly events
Event B-8 (Nissan GTR 2007)
Event A-8 (Ferrari F430 2006)
I know this game is old but was just curious if anyone ever golded them on Pro Physics. Especially Event A-8. I had to gold it by cutting some corners. The first area i cut was going into the pit in the beginning and the second area i had to go into the grass. I am just wondering because i tried everything and i couldn't do it without cutting those areas. I am just sort of kinda of wondering was this something the Developers intended or? I am kinda of confused. I have golded pretty much every GT Title. So i don't really think it's a skill issue. Lol But i was just wondering like what the heck was up with those Events on Controller? Also if you want to watch the latest streams for Prologue i made you can check my Twitch gMemo_92 you can see how i had to cut the corners in that A-8 Event. Anyways. It would be cool to find someone here that has Golded them without cutting. Maybe you can tell me what you did?
This is just to update my progression on GT5 Prologue. What i had to do and which ones were possible in Professional Physics on controller.
Most of the Time Trials and Overtake challenges were done with
TCS 1 or 2.
ABS 1
Class C - All Completed on Professional
No Corners cut or wall riding in any.
Class B - All Completed on Professional
(Time Trial) Event B - 8 GT-R Challenge required me to wall ride 1 wall in order to get the target Gold. Without wall riding it was almost impossible to reach the target time. (You do get penalized 1 time for 4 seconds for hitting the wall)
Class A - All Completed on Professional
(Overtake Challenge) Event A - 8 Ferrari F430 Challenge required me to cut some corners. First the pit lane entrance and the second one at the very end of the Daytona Circuit by cutting through the grass. Without me doing any of those two cuts. It was impossible. You do not get penalized here. Also. It's kinda of hard to pull off the cutting because you have to be at a certain speed.
Class S - Only 1 was not completed in Professional (S-6) i had to switch to Standard Physics. In Professional mode i would always place 2nd on Controller.
(Time Trial) Event S - 8 Ford GT Challenge required me again to wall ride two walls in order to get the target Gold. Got penalized 2 times. Without the wall riding it was impossible to reach Gold.
One Make Events were all completed in Professional.
Hope this helps anyone. I don't know if a wheel would make a difference. I might try doing the event S-6 on wheel to see if there is any difference.
