You ever have one of those ideas, that as soon as you see it, it makes perfect sense, it'd be a mad money maker and you can't figure out why noones come up with it yet?

I'm surfing through IMDB.com yesterday, and they've recently changed it a bit. Where there used to be names of the people in the movie, now there is a microthumbnail (microTnail?) and it links to the star.

That makes sense.

Then it dawns on me. Why hasn't amazon.com bought a partnership with IMDB.com? Link the movie info page to a sales cart, and they'd be able to sell the movies that people were looking at.

I recently rewatched Blade 2, and noticed a few characters that I'd seen in other movies. Kevin Bacon'd IMDB through a few movies and came across sequels to movies I enjoyed, but then had to skip around through amazon to see if they were available.

Now why didn't they (amazon, imdb) see this connection before?

AFAIK Amazon owns IMDB, and they already have a link to buy the movie.

Yes, right now. I just woke up from a nap, and I'm craving some sliced strawberries and bananas in a bowl with a little bit of cream.

It then dawns on me, why don't they make a strawberry flavored banana? I'm sure they can do it! People love the taste of both strawberry and banana mixed together! So, why not make a banana that's pink and tastes like a banana and a strawberry?

It's genius!

I'm also thinking of a cookie that has freeze-dried milk in it that changes into liquid milk once you stick the cookie in your mouth. A cookie, with the milk! Not bad, huh? Huh? HUH?

I'm going back to sleep... nite.

Damn. It was right there and I missed it completely. I feel almost as foolish as Sage and his bumper sticker.

Now, the milk dehydated in the cookie is a brilliant idea.

You could "do a Sage" and delete the thread....

I was actually posting my reply hoping that I'd read your post right.

Every once in a while I have a think about a solution to the perpetual energy machine.

Still trying to figure it out.

Every once in a while I have a think about a solution to the perpetual energy machine.

The thing about the debate surrounding the perpetual energy machine is that it keeps going on and on and on and on...

I did, however, have an idea about sequential turbos and I emailed Honda about it but it turned out I was a bit late

I've had a couple of other ideas but most of them don't make sense.

Rolleyes indeed!

Well, now that I think of it, I did have an idea to get rid of "tax time". Not to sure it would work though

Works just like social security, they take a certian % out of each paycheck( depending on which bracket you fall under) and that goes into an account that is held closed till tax day, which then gets transfered to the good 'ol govenment

Probably left out a bunch of stuff...

oh yeah,©®™

Um, isn't that kind of how the US works, except they never get it right and somehow I have to let them know if they owe me money or do the work to find out if I owe them more?

Honestly, if they could work that out right and guarantee me that it was correct I would love it, but being government and all I can't expect them to do that properly.

I had an idea a while back, it could be great or it could be a flop. I was thinking as I was driving past a gated community on a golf course thinking about how much money you would have to have to live there and all the money you pay to keep the course up, and I thought golf is boring, they should have something a little more high paced. And then it dawned on me, what about a race track in a gated community, or maybe not a community just a bunch of rich bastages with nice track cars that would like to drive them privatly. I think it would work, and if I win the lottery I will make it happen. What do you guys think?

Mr. Ascari already has that in Spain.

There is also a chain of Snowboarder-specific hotels around the world called The Block where you can go and relax in proper style and not be around rich snobs found at most ski-resort hotels, oh yeah, no skiers too.
