Yes, it has only ONE turbo. If it had two, the text would say, "with both turbo's hissing in a sinister fashion"...

I've seen twin-turbo Evo's before. None of them have less than 500hp at the wheels though. If you can get one of THOSE factory, I'll take it!!

The only Twin Turbo Mitsubishi has is the 3000GT and Stealth RT, which are both V6's, But for the Lancer's 4G63, has never been but a single turbo. As well as for the 4G63's in the Eclipse/Laser/Talon's. AND the Galant VR-4. All the same engine, all single turbo.. If you want to get technical there turbo sizes all vary to a TD04 13B in the DSM autos, or the T-D05 14G in the manuals, the EVO's im almost possitive are running the 16G's.

Hah look a DSM owner doesn't even know Mitsu turbo cars...Mitsubishi has 2 Twin turbo cars...The GTO...Which is the 3000GT and Stealth RT more or less.......And a Galant VR-4......I didn't expect you to know this.......Because I have a feeling you think all GVR4's are DSM's and it's only the Vr-4's from 94 to 98 is it?
but that's cool.....You learn something new everyday..Right?
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I think it is still up for debate whether or not the Evo is twin turbo. Maybe I'll go rip off my heat shield to see if there are two mini turbos under it.;) ;) ;) ;)

Because I have a feeling you think all GVR4's are DSM's and it's only the Vr-4's from 94 to 98 is it?

There were only 1,500 GVR4's made in 1991 and only 2,000 made in 1992. That was the only 2 years they made a Galant with a 4G63. GTO, 3000GT, same damn thing just US spec and J spec.

....I just said that tS1, reading comprehension.....give it a try....

And youre crazy guy...how else would a GVR4 be a DSM? They didn't start making GVR4's untill 94 and up....and unless you didnt realize the 94+ ones from the DSM plant are the only galants in that time frame with a 4g63, but they have a 4g63 none the less......The ones prior to the 94 may have 4g63's but wern't part of the DSM program, therefore they arn't DSM.....And you've still got me baffled as to how you assumed I meant the GTO and 3000GT are different....I don't know how you read that...but I said the 2 Twin turbo cars Mitsu has is the GTO which is the 3000gt and Stealth...and there's the GVR4...but you didnt know that.

They only made GVR4's for TWO years and that was 91 and 92. There was no other Turbo AWD Galant other than the 3,500 made from those two years of limited production. Let me ask you this, are late 95-99 Talon/Eclipse's DSM's as well?

See, what youre not getting is that...A DSM comes from a DSM plant....A GVR4 isnt a DSM if it's from japan.....
America HAD GVR4's before 94...yes....but there were only 3000, not 3500 sent to america in 91 and 92....2000 in 91 and 1000 in 92.....Therefore.....The US had no DSM galants untill after 94.....And yes 95-99 GSX's GS-T's and TSi's are DSM's

and you still stand corrected over the Twin turbo comment.

And yes 95-99 GSX's GS-T's and TSi's are DSM's
wrong. Diamond Star Motors went under after the early 95 Talons and Eclipses were manufactured. If you look in the door jam of any of those models after that year you will NOT see a Diamond Star Motors label. The 2G's late 95 and up are not true DSM's

Did you Say LATE 95 - 99? No...meaning all the cars produced in the first 3 quarters of the year were DSMS. And you've still failed to recognize the GVR4 facts and Twin turbo facts.. do you see the subject of this thread? Turbo or Twin turbo......I know its pretaining to the Evo 8..but I recall you mentioning that Mitsu only had one TT car..which was wrong..then it turned into a GVR4 debate..which you were also wrong about....
