Hey guys. I've been reading over these forums for a few days. Its been really helpful in learning how to tune and drive. Here's the first of many questions to come: Has anyone been able to recreate an Evo IX that drives like the tuned one in GTHD? I'd gotten pretty good at drifting at the Eiger in the demo, but I haven't been able to duplicate its characteristics in Prologue. I'm sort of new to tuning, and though I've kind of gotten the hang of it, I am by no means an expert, and any tips would help. Also, a setup for the Evo X/Tuned would be nice. I cant seem to get the gear ratios right. I always redline early in almost any corner and am forced to lose the drift as I upshift. Thanks a lot.

I know what you mean about getting really good on GT HD with the EVO IX, 13,000+ points on average, but my friend Atexmax told me that the tuned Evo just does not drift as well as the one in GT HD & as far as using it as a drift car is a pure waste of money. That was a little depressing for me. As far as tuning goes, have you tried adjusting the rear camber settings on the car?

Here's the thing. I'm studying to be a mechanic right now. Give me a year or so and I'll be able to tune anything. But as of right now, I really have no clue how tuning something truly affects the cars preformance. Until I've experienced it in real life, its hard to imagine on the screen. So what I was hoping for was more of a full setup instead of tips on what I might want to toy with. I also hear that the physics setup for GH5P is totally different from GTHD, which might be my problem. Thanks, though.

Oh...you have know idea, but you are definately talking to the right guy. Do you happen to own GT4? This game is very helpfull in learning what does what to a car when tuning it. I do know my way around a car too, just to let you know my level of expertise, I have changed the clutch on a 1997 Ford Escort, 1995 Acura Integra, & a 2003 Ford Focus, just to list a few of the jobs i have done.

It will be hard to get it to drive even remotely similar to the GTHD version as the physics engine is totally different.
