maybe u guys can tell me how to set my gear ratios good enough for it to run at least 9 if lower thats gonna be much help
==================
my current settings are
Gear ratios:
1st gear - 2.610
2nd gear - 1.802
3rd gear - 1.335
4th gear - 1.035
5th gear - 0.841
6th gear - 0.715
Final - 3.730
Auto - 10

==================

what can i do to make it faster.
what else i can do like downforce, or weight balancing.
ANYTHING will help
is there a way to make the car 700 HP?
my car at the moment wit all parts runs 10.5-10.8 quarter mile at 578HP
also is there a way to make this car 7 gears?
please help me because i wanna challage my friend for his car!
thanks alot

OK....

Try changing tires. Grippier tires will result in a faster time.

No you cannot add/remove gears to any car.

Challenge your friend for his car? Are you guys gonna drag and winner takes loser's car?

I would definitely increase the final drive ... You'll probably want to be near the end of 3rd or 4th gear (depending on how broad the power band is) before you cross the finish line ...

Tune 1st gear so that, when you drop the clutch from redline, you're on the brink of spinning, but not actually spinning ... You'll probably want to set 1st gear as low as it will go and then increase the final drive ratio ...

With each successive gear, you should maximize horsepower as much as possible ... So, say your powerband is from 5000-7000 RPM, you'd want to shift from 1st at 7000 RPM and end up in 2nd at 5000 RPM ... then 2nd at 7000 to 3rd at 5000, etc.

To figure this, simply take the original gear (let's say 2.61) and multiply by the desired RPM in next gear (5000) and divide by the shift point (7000) ...

2.61*5000/7000 = 1.864 *Just an example*

Definitely use Super Soft slicks ... Reduce downforce to a minimum ... Zero camber and Zero Toe ...

I routinely run 9s in GT2 with the EvoVI RS (593 hp) ...

Uhhh, my MR ran 9's without NOS and I didn't change any gears at all. When I use NOS it ran an 8.7 1/4 mile.

i can get it in the mid 7s with nos 560bhp evo 8 mr.
