If these settings suck for you... go play some other racing game cause you dont know how to play Gran Turismo.

Lol..Those settings DO suck..They're way over drawn and un nessicary....A Evo VII can drift alot better with ALOT less modifications than that...Lol only 422 With super softs?...A 422 HP Evo isn't that powerful man...Put it this way..a 370 HP 22B will beat a 422 Evo most of the time...

That's the advantage of the AWD drivetrain MINIMAL MODIFICATIONS ARE NEEDED....RWD's you need to adjust this and tweak that and blah blah...AWD's you just need moderate power and tires...And you're set..And it'll drift perfectly..effortlessly and beautifully..There's only one time light tuning won't work for an AWD car...That is of course if you suck

I like my Evo VII how it is, but I'll try em out. See if I like these settings any better. I drift on super slicks though so I can race with it on tire wear races.

First of all... Why do you go off criticizing other people's settings? These settings are intended for people who havnt caught the hang of drifting yet. With these settings people can drift any turn effortlessly. I do not give out my personal settings for any of my cars. All my settings require fine tuning and none of this rounding off ****. They are tuned even to the thousandth of a decimal. So dont knock the settings until you've tried them.

Because you criticized me...That's why I criticized your settings
If these settings suck for you... go play some other racing game cause you dont know how to play Gran Turismo.
See that?..And I have tried them...And who said anything about "rounding off ****" and tell me how you can tune everything to the thousanth of a decimal?..The only thing up there that can be is the transmission gearing..Which doesn't need to be changed anyway!

but yeah...I can get an Evo to drift around ANY corner in the game..asside from like Test course...But any OTHER corner in the game and have....off of 410 HP...Sport Tires And lowered suspension..That's all....No spending 10,000 on a transmission no buying a customizable LSD no buying a Braking power distributor no buying the AVC .........

BRING IT ON!!!.......even if I more than likely won't be able to enter the next comp either..Lol...I'll try though

Nope....Crappy PC all together..I'm going to try and bring all of my replays and what not to a friend of mine's..because he has a very nice system...

Well even though its against my strict policy of FR cars Only I made the purchase did the mods as suggested .I must say the settings arn't bad but are even better with sims but as per usual 4WD is try hard as in the car trys to hard to get out of the drift.;)this aside i might keep this car on my card so friends can easily drift without spinning out.I had problems trying to adjust my gear ratios to exactly what you have mine dont seem to be able to go that low (i think its the difference in game version maybe!).I soooo want the version that is in MPH.ive got a KPH version:(

I've got a friend so bad at driving in GT3 that he expects to make a hairpin after the turn starts. He's 18 and has never made a turn without crashing into the wall.

Im having that sort of prob at the moment but its the opposite im going to fast then feint drifting ages before a corner and its not scrubbing enough speed off or worse to much maybe i should just slow down (not a real option) or try to start the drift a bit closer to the corners.

or maybe you should try feinting to the point it changes your direction slightly then using both the e-brake to turn your car..and full throttle to reposition+move your car in the direction you want

That's how I do longer corners..I feint wide..But before I allow the back wheels to lose traction..or any wheels..I make sure my car is moving in the general direction..as apposed to just sliding and expecting tractionless wheels to propel me

Is that the point when you dont have contol over direction of drift and generally just slide off to the outside barrier of the track.thats another prob im having ive got the car set sidways with good angle but i just seem to slide off and hit the barriers.I think i will experiment with using E Brake to initiate drift as well as feint

use the foot brake repeatedly...tap it if you will....If you rely only on the ebrake and have high speeds..you're bound to hit a wall..and it's always a good idea to get your car pointed in the direction you wanna go..Before you start going..Ya know?...If it's a hairpin..Bring the back end out further than the front..and just counter the hell outa it..unless it's AWD..And you'll pull right out of it....if it's a long corner...point the nose at about3 feet into the wall and you'll be aimed just enough to avoid it....Hold on I'll do a little Paint Pic for you for what I mean on that last one..IT's hard to describe

SOMETHING like this

Ok I have my car oversteering as shown the final stage of your pic but have that much oversteer about where your second arrow is or even sooner still on the straight even which im starting to think may be a little soon and a little to fast even.

oh the arrows wern't to signify where to strart turning....The arrows were so you could tell which direction it was going..the pic was simply to illustrate the angel in which your car should be pointed barely getting into the corner.
