Examples of plot armor you've seen in shows and movies?

I have no doubt we've seen some things in shows and movies where a character either survives an ordeal they should've been killed in, defeated an opponent that they should've easily lost to, or had some kind of absurd success in achieving something, simply because the plot demands it. Of course, it's not just limited to characters either; plot armor can be applied to just about anything, really.

So what examples can you provide of this? And this is optional, but how would you fix it? Feel free to share your examples here! :)

I think claims of 'plot armour' are highly exaggerated. I mean, IRL, some people go through a whole war with bullets flying left, right and centre and never get hit.

That said, Reiner Braun in Attack on Titan season 3 part 2, what with Levi acting out of character and all the nonsense about 'transferring his conscience', smacks of plot armour.
 
As the protagonist of the tv series Gotham, Detective Jim Gordon has bulletproof plot armour throughout.

Stay away from Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker, then. That's how Palpatine came back in that movie.

Seen it already, but don't remember that explanation. However, I do remember the infamous line, "Somehow Palpatine returned".

I ain't seen it in years, but I know the explanation was not provided within the movie; it was through other media that it was told. Mind you, that's not even the first time this sort of thing has happened either. Prior to Disney's purchase of Star Wars, Palpatine actually did this 3 times in Star Wars Legends.
 
Would Megatron from the Michael Bay-directed Transformers movies count? You'd think the conclusion of the first movie would be the end of him.

I’d say it does. So many others died and didn’t return, yet he did. Though, in fairness, Optimus Prime did too.

Edit: I just remembered, Megatron actually died twice in the Michael Bay movies and came back both times!
