i'd know how this feels, considering how much i get flamed. tell about your instances here

i just got banned from here for making one little threat to a guy(who's twice my age, and anyway, it was just to kick him in the nuts.), who was pissing me off. he then said i told all of these other guys that i had threatened him saying i was going to shoot him with full-auto glocks or something crazy like that. it really sucks.
 
a glock where you can just hold the trigger down to automatically fire rounds instead of just releasing and compressing the trigger to fire a round like traditional handguns

It's kind of like driving on public roads along with the public and law enforcement officers. There was some sort of rule broken, maybe repeatedly and they acted upon it.

I did enjoy reading the intense discussion on dream home fire alarm systems though. :D Dropping $5,000 on a fire system for your home is reasonable right?

Anyways, I don't have any stories to share, but I hope this doesn't turn into a "Bash the OP" thread. We've had our fun towards him, and it seems he's trying to be serious now.

What has his age got to do with anything? And you obviously did something in the first place to get banned (you say it was just to give him a kick in the nuts). If what you say is true about the full auto glock comments then it's a forum you wouldn't really want to visit anyway. There is no excessive blame. you made a threat, no matter how small it was. If you did the same thing here you would get an infraction or be banned.

This sounds like it came straight from a playground. Someone needs to go and stand in the corner (facing the wall, no turning around).
 
You will get no reasonable answers from this thread, which is the most likely thing to happen, considering all that you've done. And the fact that you are talking about other forum, and not this one, in which you seem to have lied consistently, reinforces this fact.
Go ahead, and make my day. I like to see where do these kind of threads go.

i've been trying to, but nobody seemed to notice until now.

i hope your not talking to me dude. those guys at that forum are paranoid, all have OCD, and all need something better to do with their lives than blame people for one little thing.

and, yes, i did pay over $5K to put my fire alarm system in my room. plastic conduit and gang boxes, plus wiring are NOT cheap. the conduit was like $24 per foot, and the boxes were $10 each(out of the 15 that were purchased, only 5 were used). the wire was $37 per yard, and there was 300 ft of wire. not to mention all of the components were well over $1000 total.

Well you said that you had made a little threat to someone on a forum. Everyone knows that the internet is the worst place to have an argument or make threats because you can't actually kick them in the knackers when it comes to the crunch.

I don't know if your fire alarm rant was directed at me and I'm not really fussed either way. Although I will say that $5,000 seems like a lot of money for a fire alarm system for a room. I'm also interested in what features your smoke alarm has to my £35 mains powered alarm.

With all the hoohah in the news about people taking their own lives because of internet harassment, you really should keep that threatening of people down to non-existent.
The person that caused a young girl to commit suicide because of some internet nastiness was successfully prosecuted.

Yes, it is just the internet, and "shockingly" with all the access from all over the world, someone is gonna be wrong once in a while.

That is why, I don't really engage in internet arguments anymore. I'll state my piece and be pretty much done for the most part.

Oh, and a full-auto Glock is the Glock 18 I believe that it is the only model with an even number. I also believe that in order to purchase one (in the US) you have to have a Class III firearms license. You may also have to have some involvement (on the proper side of the badge) with law enforcement.

God, I hope this isn't and IBTL post.:D

And now you have just put your self back into the nobody is going to take you serious category. Everyone has their hobbies and that's fine, but you saying that you actually have a $5,000 fire alarm system in your room? Would that be your bedroom meaning you still live at home and no doubt can not afford to put that much money into a fire alarm system, unless your priorities are that far off? What I'm really interested in is what kind of conduit and wiring you're using. You could be using 4" rigid and still not come out to $24/foot. Wiremold is not even close to that expensive, and you can get a 500' roll of 18/2 for fire alarms for less than $100. And if you're doing this for a hobby, 18/2 thermostat wire would work plenty fine for $50. I'm certainly not a math wizard by any means, but something isn't adding up. Pictures please, or it didn't happen.
