Exclusive videos/trailers for PS3 owners through the PSN?

I have this idea and just felt like posting it. I searched around but didn't find anything that was similar. I think that Sony should release game videos and trailers exclusively on the PSN for PS3 owners. What I'm talking about is high quality videos of upcoming games that they're showing at gameshows like E3, TGS or GC and others.

I think it would be pretty sweet if they would cater to us a little in terms of exclusive videos that only PS3 owners will get to see first then release it a week or 2 later to the public. Not just game videos but interviews with developers or other kinds of PS3 related videos for us to watch while we're waiting for these great games that are coming out in the future.

I know that there are some out on the PSN already but I personally think it would be nice to have even more behind the scenes videos or off-screen videos of upcoming games without having to deal with the rap or techno music from the Youtube videos (not to mention the low quality).

I also have an Xbox360 and they seem to have a lot of videos that I can't find on the internet and they're pretty high quality videos as well. I think Sony should do the same with the PSN. Not just that but they should use their name to get music/TV shows and movies onto the PSN like the 360 has. I know it'll eventually happen and this is a little off topic from what my thread is about but just felt like adding that in.

They do that already. There have been countless numbers of "exclusive" videos made available for download first on the PS Stores, but as if often the case, much of it will also get released through other outlets later on, either through official distribution methods, or sites that copy and post the videos themselves.

With today's digital media technology, it's nearly impossible to really have "exclusive" video content, as just about anything can be copied and shared so easily.

However, much of the content that is released on the PS3 is initially exclusive.

I understand that in this day and age, it's pretty much impossible for anything to be "exclusive". What I'm saying is have these HD videos be available for download on the PSN the day after the show. I'm not talking about a video that some guy who attended the show recorded with the sounds completely drowned out by the background noises, I'm talking about a video that Sony themselves recorded of the game in all it's glory.

I guess I just want to feel a little special for forking out $600 on the PS3.

I understand what you are saying, but as far as I could tell, many of the videos that have been posted on the PSN were at the time they were first made available "exclusive" to PS3 owners.
