Exhaust note?

Does the exhaust note actaully change when u install a new exhaust?

Yes. The exhaust note does change.

Sort of. With the Corvette i had at the start yes the exhaust note did change.

Yes it definetly changes.... well it mos def changes from when you go STOCK to RACE muffler/exhaust... i dont know if it changes all throughout the spectrum of exhaust/mufflers, but from stock it is usually deeper than a racing one which has a higher tone almost a whine.

i think it does, but normally its gets drowned out by either guns n roses or metallica

It does, especially if you go to race exhuast. much better sound!

A good example is the Mazda RX-7 Savanna. The stock exhaust sounds very different from the racing exhaust. The racing exhaust makes the RX-7 sound like a pure-bred race car. Try it.
