exhaust ?

i have noticed that alot of people put he C5R exhaust on their hybrids, why is that?? does it make the car sound like the C5R?? or is it for performance?? because if that is the case there are exhausts that add more power than the C5R's, by what the MK program says the C5R adds nothing.

True that most if not all of the "Race" car exhausts add no HP, and the only reason for using themwould be to change the tone of the engine. I myself will use them for instance when I am building a car for a series that has specific HP limits, and I don't want the exhaust to add HP, but want the better sound. A specific exhaust, such as the C5R will not make a car sound like the car it came from, but more likely will make it sound like it would with the engine using it's own full race exhaust.

i used the corvette c-5r exaust for my cobra r hybrid because when you put it with the 427 cobra engine it sounds really deep.
