Exoticar screwed me off for the last time! (venting)

This is the second ****ing time they screwd me off. 1st time, I ordered the AutoART #1 Toyota GT-One. I waited 3 damn weeks for the car to come in. So, then I had to call them to ask when it comes in then they told me it was out of stock, then I re-order to the #3 GT-One. It took 2 weeks to come in then finding in to be the #2 car. But that wasn't bad.
But I ordered the US Grand Prix event poster for my dad for fathers day. Since UPS don't run out and about on weekends I had to wait till Monday (today). So it comes in, I open to check it and see if its the right one. I open it, seeing I got the FERRARI $10 formula 1 poster, when I paid $24.99 for the USGP poster. This is the last ****ing straw. Everytime I freaking order something they mix something up. Like the first time with my dad, he ordered the Brake Disc Suspension clock, they mixed it up with a corvette clock. I'm telling you, they ****ing mess up on our orders. I gotta bone to pick with them. 👎:mad:

The poster they sent me is not even on their site, but in their catalog.
 
Blow them up. Some people just need to be blown up.
 
If he sends the poster back, he'd get $24.99 back.
I'd just not order from them anymore.
If they suck, they probably know it.
 
Ok, heres the plan. Under the cover of darkness we sneak towards the perimeter of their compound, avoiding all forms of detection, cameras, trip wires etc. We then bombard them with paper airplanes....made of their own mixed up orders. We go in through the back door, steal all the prints and sell them on Ebay.
Okay maybe not, lets draft an angry letter.

I know, but in the letter he would explain how they had sent the wrong poster and that posted is valued $14.99 less than the one he order. He asks for the poster he ordered and a $14.99 discount.
 
I placed multiple orders with them a few years ago without any problems whatsoever. It's always sad to hear about a good business being poorly run..

I never had any trouble with Exoticar, but I keep hearing bad things about them. Ebay's been fulfilling my needs lately, without trouble as well.

Thats what my mom said. Well, when I called, I wanted to return it and get the right poster. I said,"I got the wrong poster..." And on the recite is said - USGP04 Poster. They must got it right, but someone got a order mixed up. Their stocker sucks. Well anyway. He wanted me to pay another $24.99. $31.04 total. I'm not paying another when I just put some money I made into my dad's father day's gift. So, then another dude come on the phone and said I can return it and I will get the USGP04 poster within 5-7 days. Thank god he came on the phone.

You're not gonna get it. I'm lucky I got the #2. You better call them every 3 days and see how everything is going, otherwise, or a different car.
 
Exoticar are some wierd folk.
Coupla years back I ordered a BMW X5 1/12 scale R/C car for $80. It comes in like 3 weeks later. I open it up and everything's there, well if I lived in Germany. They didn't bother to let me know that it comes with a European outlet battery charger. Completely useless to me. So then I E-mail them and they said that the correct adapter would cost money. I wrote back saying that we'd stop the payment on the credit card if we don't get the correct adapter. They sent it in another 2 weeks. Then the car itself burned up a few weeks later. Useless.

I'd suggest going to www.wildcollections.com . I got my AutoArt RX-8 from them. Thier site said that the LHD was sold out, so I ordered the RHD one in red. They kindly E-mailed me saying that they just got the LHD in and wondered if I'd like that one instead, and I did. It came in like 2 weeks later, and it cost me like $10 less than any other online model store. Very good.
 
Maybe you should tell them the wrong order so they'll give you what you really want?

By out of stock, I meant temporarily, as in they planned to have a new shipment in soon.
