Expanding GT's features beyond the PS3.

Imagine PD releasing a PC app where you can create your own track and add trees buildings where you want and upload it.

Then download it to your PS3.

Same with a livery editor.

I got the idea from the remote racing where you can monitor a race from your PC.

You think GT or any other games can have that utilized? We cant exactly mod console games without gutting a console. Or customize them, but imagine if a dev was out there that would support creativity of a gamer?
 
Sounds good. The livery editor on the pc, would be more efficient to make, as would the track, but i wonder there would be some importing problems, there always is.

I would love the livery editor on PC
but the track i can just imagine how huge that file would be and how long it would take to download to the game
 
The only issue with that is unfair users. There could be a person who makes a track and there could be issues with quality of the track. Then there is the issue were people can't control their inappropriate behavior. I don't want to join an online lounge were the track is "just another male anatomy track". mod nation and little big planet is a good example for every good level or design there are a thousand bad ones...

Sacrifice freedom for order. It's a tough thing to figure out.
 
I love and desire creativity but I just do think GT needs that I thank all we need is a very basic livery editor such as sponsors, stripes and decals. That's all we need for our racing cars. We don't need "artists" to make a race car. Forza has a robust livery editor but it's too much. I can make a very nice race car in minutes but I don't need the extra tools to make a human portrait on my rear bumper.
