Expert tyre advice needed

Hi, I was just wondering if the online tyre wear problems have been sorted out in recent updates? Namely Hard/Medium/Soft racing tyres wearing at the same rate.
Mods, I know this has been asked before, I searched and read the results but most threads were many updates ago or answered by people who were not sure.
Does anyone have a definitive answer?

My buddy Nethereal found this link which contains some interesting information on the tyre situation with GT5. Heres hoping for a patch to this annoying problem.
