explain remote races please

Hello,

Can somebody explain to me exactly how I can join remote races and how they work, I don't want to host them.


EDIT: While your busy at it, Can I leave my B-spec driver with an long endurance race without having to command it? And what car should i use? a FGT, X2010? what car is best for endurance B-spec?

You have a problem right there. Not hosting is being whats called a leach.
No body wants a leach on their friends list. They will want people who share back with remote races..

then first I have to learn ^^

I do want to host them some time, but first I want to experience how this all works.
So first I just want to be joined in to a race.

It doesn't quite work that way.....

Remote Racing is basically 2 things.
1. You put your Bobs online for your friends to race , ( You can't watch their races )
2. You host a race , pick 1 of your B-Spec Bobs and then you can pick 15 of your friends Bobs to join , ( And you are stuck watching it )

okay thanks, I think I jost hosted one but I'm not so sure.

I did this:
- I first put my B-spec bob (thats just a racer right) On share, online.
- Then I went to community to race op afstand (probably remote race in english).
- Then I choose a challenge with some kind of Dodge on the nurburgring gp/f.
- Then I clicked the little character besides my name and chose my b-spec bob.
- Then I clicked the + underneath my name and went to jkt008's name and select all(6) of his bobs.
- also joined in 2 racers from soupdragon and 1 from chug-a-bug i think (both accounts from same owner).
- Then I started the race.

That should be right, isn't it?
And when the race is done my b-spec bob gets exp and cr. and my b-spec level goes up right?
and all the other bobs too right?

It's really as simple as this:

1. Read through the B-Spec FAQ.
2. Download and install the Widget.
3. Post your PSN in the Remote Race Friends thread.
4. ???
5. Profit.

Yep that's how you host. 👍

Only the B-Spec Bob you host the race with will get cash & XP , although your overall B-Spec XP will go up when he races.

If you put all 6 of your Bobs online & your friends race them all , then they all get cash & overall B-Spec XP for you too.

EDIT: and one question: If I do an endurance for my B-spec BOB, do i then have to coach it or just let it go till race finishes? and what car should i use, is X2010 (prototype) good?

*Additionally* Yep , X2010 works well & Bob never needs any help , ( As long as he can handle the car ) .
