Anyone done it? Having an extra .75-1.5" of steering column length would seriously improve the ergonomics of the DFP/cockpit project I'm working on. I've done it for testing using some nylon shims, but I want an extension that keeps the wheel as firm as possible....and I do intend to keep the wheel-mounted buttons, but I can extend the pigtail to the wheel if I need to.
