Extra sections of track in Route X

Has anybody else noticed the extra sections of track on Route X? Most notable, there is a long straight that banks left and back over the first straight and into the midfield. Then on the return straight, there you can see a high banked turn on the right in the midfield. Does anybody know of any glitches to break out of the track to see what's over there, or any camera angles that may give us a better look?
