A couple of months ago I started a new series called "Extreme Road Rally Series" - below you can find the original information posted on this website - The Series was first being held on Saturdays at 12pm PT / 3pm PT but we have decided to move the series to Wednesdays at 7pm PT / 10pm ET hoping to attract more people.

Here's the original information:

The OFF-ROAD RACING LEAGUE is organizing an all new series featuring modern WRC cars (2008) and NO DIRT/SNOW tracks. The series is called "Extreme Road Rally Series" (ERRS) and the first event is scheduled for January 19th.
I could write a thousand words about this racing series but I don't want bore you to death. Instead, you can visit the website where you can find all the information you need to know: http://www.offroadracingleague.org/#/gt5-series/4535702802

ALL COMPETITORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO READ THE "GOOD RACECRAFT GUIDE" BEFORE JOINING THE SERIES (https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=183891). I also expect you to apply said guide on the track; not following some of the guidelines may result in penalization. Rules and penalties can be found on the ERRS website: www.offroadracingleague.org/gt5-series

RESULTS EVENT #7
Position - Driver - Points
1st - markmartinrules5 - 30
2nd - DamnYankee - 27
3rd - mexgamer - 25
4th - bigmacandcheese - 23
5th - Quintu - 22
6th - Ratcher2448 - 21
7th - mgettliffe - 10 (DNF)
8th - RocketRob99 - 9 (DNF)

It was an exciting race! markmartin beat damnyankee by less than a second! It was an amazing side by side finish at Daytona. Pit strategy really played out a major role in this race as you would expect; MarkMartin pulled it of with just one pit stop while DamnYankee had to pit in the last lap because he was running out of fuel for a total of two pit stops. Myself, I tried a two-pit stop strategy but one stop proved to be better at Daytona (finished 25 seconds behind).

Don't forget to sign-up for the next even: Nordwand Road Rally @ Eiger Nordwand Short Course (paved track) 39 laps.

We expect at least 10 entries next week! See you soon!
