Just thought I'd share some info on Sony's new (eye)toy. Apparently its a USB camera that tracks your motions and shows them on your TV. The neat thing though is that it can translate these movements into a game. For example, in one game showed, the eyetoy was used for a soccer sim. in which you could bounce or kick the ball past a goalie. It's not very exciting right now, but with some imagination, developers could create games that weren't possible even a year ago. Anyways, I kinda rambled, but I thought I'd save some people a few bucks for looking here instead of buying a magazine.

it hooks up to the ps2 sounds sweet. do u have pics or anything?

Well I couldn't find one, and I gotta hit the sack, but it basically looks like a webcam with PlayStation2 on it here's another link. I'll try to find a scanner to get a pic tomorrow.

There is possible to use an Eye Toy's camera as webcam on PC. Just read instruction here or here and have fun.

The quality is surprisingly better than usual webcam.

Keeno has one, it's been out for quite a while now. Since last year I think.

here is a pic of my eye toy
