I've been a glasses wearer since I can remember. At birth my optic nerve didn't develop correctly in the right eye and since developed a slight turn in (you can't notice from looking at me). I currently wear a pair of ic! Berlin Anthony frames, both lenses are the same, now my right eye is un-correctable nothing will make my vision better in that eye, but my left is slightly short sighted so the optician opted to make both lenses the same more for balance of the glasses.

I don't understand what you mean. They can't be used twice because they're so incredibly thin and therefore almost impossible to put back in after a day of wear. They're prone to tearing (I've lost half in my eye on two seperate occasions now!) but their thin-ness makes them exceptionally comfortable and probably more hygenic than monthlies.
 
....Ironically, my father who uses contacts found out after some experiementation (many years ago) that using a branded dailies contact lenses, he could make them go for three months of use before they broke up. This was with daily use, putting them in his eyes in the morning and taking them out after work and after a set time in the evening to use his standard glasses.

He says he changes them every month or so.

This was many years before the big hoo-haa this year (or last year, I forget which) that came about when somebody pointed out that some dailies were the same strength as the monthlies.
 
Reading glasses for anything close enough to touch, and maybe a little further than that. Until I was 40 I had perfect vision, and could read things far enough away that my sister (bifocals since she was 12) couldn't even tell that words were present.

I didnt even know they were thin.:dopey::lol: Ive only ever had monthlies.
 
Glasses nearly all the time, and daily contacts on some occassions.

Going out, sport, some meeting,
I rarly put my contacts in though, i'm fine with the glasses,

but for sport they are really good

Daily contacts should only be used for their purpose, meaning 1 day. Because they have the lubricant in them, they dry out after more than 24 hours, and as said above, they are slim, so they break easily.
But they are super comfy, you even forget you are wearing them.

I also lost twice the lenses in my eyes. That can turn out dangerous, so if you don't find them back after the end of the day, consult your optician.
