I have a 360 right now but it is broken and not under warranty(1 red light isn't covered for some reason). But I was wondering what would be a better idea, trade in my games, HDD and controllers and buy a used PS3 or just buy a new Arcade 360 for $200.

I'd say go with the PS3 but I'm biased towards Playstation.

How many games, peripherals etc do you own? Cuz if you've got a massive collection of games you enjoy playing then probably doesn't make sense to completely abandon the 360 and start all over again with a PS3.

Quick question though, how did your 360 break? I see the new arcade ones seem to have faults.

Well I know I will be getting a PS3 when GT5 comes out anyways but I currently want a couple games(F1:CE, MLB 09 and GT5rologue). As for my 360, it is a launch console, I also only have 3 games for it (Forza 2, GTA4 and MLB 2K8) I don't really play any of them any more except the occasional Forza session.

yea every xbox definately brakes in the first few hours so definately buy the ps3 it is better b/c it has gran turismo and its made by sony obv.

Seriously though, I've never had a problem with my 360, just buy whatever system has the games you like more. I don't think there is anything more pathetic than arguing over which video game system is better.

If you got PS3 you will get all PS3 exclusives at once which you haven't play, which a lot of new good games. And if you buy a new X360 you will get only future games.

I bought recently PS3 in addition to X360 and wasn't disappointed. Repair the 360 and buy PS3

These are all personal opinions. The PS3/ 360 have their fair share of problems. Though probably the only advantage is that the Ps3 plays Blu-Ray discs. Do a D.I. Y on the 360 and buy the PS3 or save the money.
Tekken 6 will appear on both 360/Ps3 but arcade is always better 👍

Though that there are the occasion 27-40 year olds ask how did you kill them and think that your hacking on both consoles. Because the 10 year old kids are usually kicked from the game or quit if they can't win.
