F1 2007 tune set up for Suzuka online race

This is my tune set up for the F1 2007 FOR THE SUZUKA CIRCUIT. I can run a 1:34 to 1:30 with this set up. However, there are guys out there that blow by me as if I was standing still and even lap me in a 20 lap race, so I know there are some better set-ups and some faster racers. But I think that this is a good starting point for anyone who is wishing to decrease lap times.

I am able to do consistent 26's and 27's with this tune.

Best lap so far = 1'26.164

To Mad94D,

Thanks for your input, I will conversely use your set-up and give you some feedback. Are using the R3 Race tires(Arcade mode) or the S3 tires that are only allowed in the online mode.

I also see that your ranked in the top 100 in time trial, congrats! Did you use the forementioned setup?

I used your setup and was able to get mid 26's consistently. Great gearing, nice and stable. But I think I was used to my tune which didn't allow me to like it as much as mine. One thing I did notice, my gearing through the esses holds me on-line. Yours in 4th, you have to be much more accurate. Much easier to make mistakes. Still a great tune though.

I"m using the N1 tyres that are availabe in online race. I tried for hours to get into the top 10 on every track, and I did. But I've dropped back on lots of tracks. I was once number 1(ahead of holl01) at Daytona Road. Then he got me. But I'm still second there, I think. So i'm really happy with that.
 
I used your set-up today and loved it! Thanks for the great info. You are right about the esses, I go from 3rd to 4th and then back into 4th going into dunlop curve or the last s. I have a hard time with the chicane and the hairpin turns. I feel I have to go through the both turns in 1 st in order to get a good drive out of the turn, when in 2nd I am not carrying enough speed to get a good drive. with your set up, I don't get alot of wheel spin out of the hairpin and the chicane.

Today I ran a 1:32.43 with your set-up in the time trial(online),but it did not register my time. What could have happened? It was a bummer, I spent a full hour, got a crinkin my neck from the strain and pressure and was not rewarded with the 1 sec improvement.

However, when I race online, I can drop my lap times into the 1:31 range, and I seem like I have less of a slide. Not sure why. My goal is tap into the top 100. Right now I am at 1265 with a 1:33 and some change.

Sure is a lot of fun though! Thanks for the set up, I will use it from this point on.

Thanks. For your time to register in the online rankings you need to do it in arcade->Time trial. You can't tune in this mode, and it's on S2 tyres. Online free run will not register your time into the rankings.

Glad you like the tune. I use 2nd coming out of the chicane and hairpin so I don't get wheelspin. I tried to tune the gears so you can stay on-line through the esses. I use 5th through the first ess, then drop back to 4th for the next one, then back to 3rd. Then through Dunlop it's flat and you just keep going up through the gears.

Gearing is the same as set one, set three is the same as set 2 only change was to rear damper which was set to 4 final time was 1:32:155. What I found with set three I was able to drive in deeper from turn one all the way to turn 9B. Once you got to turn 10 braking hard the rear will get light pushing you into the turn. I’ve changed brake bias, trail braking and short shifting but still no change. I didn’t go with the N tires do to those are nuts on the track and shouldn’t have the chose to install them just my opinion. Plus once the final of GT5 is released .I have a good feeling there will have tire wear and fuel consumption. Which in turn PITS STOP lets hope. If you decide to use the sets and you making any change let me know what your times are or send me a replay or ghost thanks.
