F1 2015: what happened with career mode?!

I just saw a video where I noticed codemasters ditched the traditional career mode where you can drive as yourself and build up your own career. I hope somebody found something where codies mentions it'll come in an future update otherwise I might not buy it.

Your quick to catch on. We knew there wouldn't be a career mode since like April or May. Game has been built up from scratch and as they have a contractual obligation to release an F1 game every season they have had to sacrifice certain things. Expect it to be back in 2016.

Yeah it's missing. I made a tool myself to add some longevity to the game. The tool simulates a career mode and provides contract offers, performance reviews etc to make it a career mode experience.

Let me know if it helps make the game more enjoyable. Might sway you to purchase because the racing itself in 2015 is actually pretty good at times. For PS4 at least, PC version is notorious.
