Heidfeld is a great driver. Seriously. You should see him live. He's very smooth, very calm, and he gets the very best from the car. He's not the best battler, but he's very good. Where are the rumours of Kubica getting a race drive coming from?

I corrected errors in the spellings of Michael Schumacher, Jacques Villeneuve, Vitantonio Liuzzi and Tiago Montiero...

And I voted for Michael Schumacher. Yes, he did crash in Melbourne, but he was clearly trying to drag the car to a finish well above its capability. Once again he defended stoically and correctly, it's just a shame he binned it. In Imola, he was awesome from the very moment he left the garage on Friday to the time he parked on Sunday.

Everyone (particularly McLaren) is making it too easy for Alonso at the moment.

I couldn’t agree more. Ferrari and McLaren really need to up their respective games to challenge for the championship—particularly McLaren, as you say Giles, who have taken last years lesson to heart and produced a car that is not really pushing the boundaries as much. The Mercedes engine—it is reported—is the least powerful engine out there, and the lowest revving V8, hitting only 18,200rpm in qualifying and a very poor 17,500 in racing conditions.*

Considering the Cosworth V8 is hitting almost 2,000rpm more, the Mercedes engine is laughable, but at least it apears more reliable than last year.

*According F1 Racing Magazine, March 2006.

I voted for Webber. It may be the fanboi coming out in me but I think that despite his clutch? failure in Melbourne, he has run a very mature few rounds. He dropped off in the last sector of the race at Imola but he kept out of trouble even when Kimi was hounding him.

I almost voted for Alonso...and that would have been blasphemous but my hat goes off to him, he's hardly put a foot wrong all season.

Well, nobody knows for sure, but he's done well enough to be strongly considered for a race drive, should JV get the door.

Plus, he has an AWESOME head.

I am going to vote for the one and the only 'Michael Schumacher'. Watch out everyone, he is going to win this years Championship without a doubt :)

Maybe its just me but do you keep going on & on... i mean come on, your the ONLY person i've seen who said schui made a mistake at monaco.

On-Topic: I'd vote for webber, he has the potential, but williams just need to deliver :)

Is it not so that everyone in here is entitled to their own opinions?

If you are that annoyed from my ranting and raving (or as you have put it 'going on & on') about MS, then why don't you just add me to your ignore list? Simple as that!

Ok ok, fair enough, i'm just saying that even if Schui is a good driver, they all make mistakes, i was a bit ignorant when i said that lol.
