Flipping through my records, I've just noticed that I've run 17 enduro races. While that isn't unusual in itself, what is odd is that in all that time I have not yet recieved an F1 car as a prize. You'd think by now I would've gotten at least one, wouldn't you?

Anyway, I was wondering, how many enduros did the rest of you have to win before getting your first F1? (And if you just Sharked your F1 out of the game, then please move along...)

All random prizes are random, but some are more random than others.

I think there is a conspiracy. I have completed a couple of series with a random prize and I have *always* got the lowest value car. After winning GT World Champ on beginner, I was so disgusted at getting ANOTHER MX-5 (and not a very good one) that I went back and did the last race again. Then I got ANOTHER Lancer. Maybe I should try again. I really wanted the Celica. Pah! :(

I once read that you can get an F1 in the Super Speedway Enduro when you do the race with a fully tuned EVO.
You should buy every single piece of tuning you can get for the car. It takes a little longer to finish the race than with an other car (a little more than an hour) but it's over 90% certain that you get a F1. You should use the hard tires, so you need only one pit stop.

At least that's what I've read, but i never tried it because I allready had a F1 car so I didn't need it.

Let me know if it works!!!!!!

Use the Viper in the PD cup and use the save trick to get your F1 car.

It's easy to get the F1's...

Just go to the Prize car list at the Top of the GT3 Forum and find out which series race you can win one in...:chkflag:
Then enter that race and Save the series on the 2nd Last Race :floppy:
Skip the Final Race :teleport:, and if your prize car is the F1 Great
If not Simply Reload the Game :cd: and repeat until you get it :smilewink

Sorted? :star:

Um, I think you folks are kinda missing the point I wanted to make... it's not that I'm complaining about not having an F1, it's that I just found it strange that even after winning 17 races where an F1 was a possible prize, I didn't get one. Heck, I've gone through the Roadster Endurance eight times now, and still one hasn't shown up.

Here is EXACTLY WHAT I DID when I won mine from the Super Sppedway Endur'. I tried like 9,000 times and it didn't work. So, I tryed somin'. I brought out my GTSR Oreca. Which has bad handeling, and decent speed. Ok, so I figured, that if, if I raced a mediocre car, I might win a exccellent car. So, I ran the race as sloppy as I could, I ran into walls, slamed cars into walls, etc. I pitted on lap 50. and then ran the rest of the race no-pits. I won a F090/s. I dunno' if this will work for you, sense, well, it's a longshot. But, hey, keep testin' ideas!

I got your point my friend and that is a bad payoff for your Enduro investment. These races require soooo much time and patience ... hopefully your luck will turn and when you get that first F-1, you will get a few. Good luck

Oddly enough I got my first F1 on the Super Speedway enduro while trying to win another car... so I did it again and won another F1. I think the game just knows what car you're trying for and gives you something else out of spite.

i got my first F1 (F094/h) on my second enduro (Tokyo).
didn't try anything special, didn't really care which car i got. i just wanted to get that race out of the way.

I got the stinkin' Toyota GT-One Road Car on the Tokyo Enduro. Getting that one out of the way is exactly what I was doing though, I mean 100 laps?!!?

It took me 2 hours and 21 minutes to finish it.

Roadster Endurance = bad odds on getting an F1. 3 of the cars are MX-5s, 1 is F1. So you have a 1 in 4 chance. Each draw is an independent event, so it doesn't follow that you should get an F1 after a worst case of 4 goes.

I feel for you. I just completed Roaster endurance (and pissed my gf off because I hardly communicated with her, apart from the occasional grunt for over an hour), and surprise surprise I got an MX-5. Oh well, I did it for the money anyway. 100,000 for 1 hour 11 minutes work is not too bad :)

I won my first F1 the second time I went Super Speedway Enduro.

Its not all up to chance what car you will win. Almost all of the time I get the car I want out of the four (no matter what race).

Some of you probably heard of this trick, but here it is anyway:

Try to remember the "music" that plays when you are about to get your car. When it aproaches some of the very last beats, Press the TRIANGLE button when the black circle underlines the car you want.

It takes a little while to learn this, but when you get it............. ;) SWEEEEEEET!

Just run the Super Speedway Eduro with a fully tuned Skyline R34 (all upgrades 1050 hp) and it will take u bout 50 mins(maybe a little longer) you should get a good car :) C5R , Falcon , F090/s :) all pretty good cars.

Yeah, I know that. I only run the Roadster enduro so much because it's easy money... okay, and I do also want that particular F1 the enduro offers as a prize. I just can't believe that I'm having such a hard time getting any of the darn things.

I'm now up to 19 enduros with no F1. I think I deserve a trophy for Most F1-less Driver, or at least a consolation prize or something.

I think I ran the Super Speedway enduro four times before I got the F1.
I ran the Roadster enduro seven times before I got that F1.
Fortunately, I got the F1 on either the first or second try on all the other enduros. :D
Perhaps it's too late (being that you're at 19), but I wish you similar luck once you, too, break into F1-land.

I got a Formula car the first time I ran an endurance race, Superspeedway, I think. The most foolproof way to get one is of course to do the Polyphoney Digital Cup and use the Save/Reload trick until you get the best one in the game.

Yep that's what I tell people to do when they winge  about not being able to get one :D

Yeah, that is pretty funny...

In case anyone cares, I have gone through the trouble of collecting all of the F1 cars in GT3 that I can find. I now have on file and uploaded at Yahoo a gamesave that includes each F1 car in every color variation that I know of, excluding the black/yellow/gray F094/H.

I'll include that car as soon as I get one, but for now 19 F1 variations should do right?

i did get an F1 from the Superspeed way, though it took me 5 bloomin times, and i got a white and blue F1 car, but strangly enough i had raced with an F1 car, so i think that if u race with an F1 car(which i won in the Pro dream car cup) u will most likely get a F1.
Well sorry if am gonna cause someone to make a nasty comment on me, or say something back at me thats irrelevant i am bloody fed up of folk making fun, or slagging off what i say and what i comment on, i really am bloody sick on it, i just want either a fair comment or just some answer that is RELEVANT to what i said here, okay!!!
I think its really sad how folk go something like this,
"Uhhh, whats the point of that" or "speak english" or i h8 u" or Something really silly and pointless like that toward me, i have not EVER EVER EVER done anything to hurt you upset you or do anything remotly to get you angry, so why people like to go aggresive on me is quite strange, and the reason i argue back at folk its because they have made a silly irrelevant comment on what i have typed.
Now please, i am asking no more of this!!

I got my 001 first time doing the Polyphony cup i believe it was

Great cars to drive but a bit too stable at times i love to go every where side ways

Yeah, i mean they are light cars, big engines, beefy suspension, and soo stable u could balance one on top of a giant needle and it would not fall off, though over a period of time i found racing these cars too much cn ruin the GT3 experience so i have stopped and began to re-gain my old car nature.
Side ways, do you mean going fast then turning and putting on hand brake so that it skids sideways, or ...... explain please.

and a cool job you must have, i mean u really do test TVR's, if so whats it like to drive the speed12 i hear its steering is not soo great but its go a trunk full of power.

Using the F687/S, I'm currently on my 8th (unsaved) attempt at Super Speedway 150, trying to acquire the Clio Sport Race Car. I've been awarded the Corvette C5R once, the F090/S once, and the Tickford Falcon **6** FREAKING times!!

*[edit 1: make that 7 Falcons... just started my 9th attempt]

I don't think using an F1 necessitates winning an F1... I'd be happy if it would just award me that damn Clio (the cheapest of the 4!)! Last time I ran this (for my 1st gamesave), it gave it to me like 4 times before I won the F090/S...

I've tried pressing the X button, the Triangle button, not pressing a button, running fast times, running slow times... I still can't get the car I want/need. It seems to be more a matter of determination and patience...

Well, 96 more laps to go, and we'll see if that Clio is mine!

Better luck than mine! Have a great drive!

Hazzard

BTW, megalo... "I H8 U" ;)

[edit 2: UPDATE - On my 10th attempt, I *FINALLY* won the Clio Sport Race Car. I hope others have better luck than me getting the car they want/need!]
