At first i though it would be a racing game, cockpit view and all that. But who would be interested in MicroMachines version of F1. Seriously it's not for me.
 
The whole management side seems far too complex for an online game as well. I couldn't be bothered to sit there setting up every last intricacy.
 
Yeah, people want to race F1 cars, not no manage entire team. Have anyone tried manage Felipe Massa to win races alongside Alonso :sly: Not an easy task.

I think F1 manager is not the same as Football manager :crazy:
 
In conclusion, they screwed up big time.
I binned the game already 2 weeks ago (only proverbially since there's no physical copy..), having to drive the car yourself, what the hell were they thinking. And the rest of the game was fuddled.

I'm going to look at that professionally made game igpmanager mentioned on the last page, these devs seem to know what they're doing. :)
 
I'm still liking it and the controls aren't that bad. I steer and accelerate with the mouse and use the keyboard to brake/KERS/DRS. Tight turns are a bit tricky but other than that I can do the raceline just fine, using the kerbs and all.

Agree.

I've played once (the only 'once' I can ever play :lol:), and I've liked that game since then. The controls can be replaced with directional buttons, but using mouse is still okay for me.

Now someone from Codemasters please fix the website for my region... :(

Started playing it yesterday. I liked both the management and the racing. It's a bit laggy and some people ram you off the track but overall I liked it.

If you want a good management-only F1 game you should try www.igpmanager.com, which I play as well.

I have started playing that as well. Its quite good. I like it more than F1 online.

If only they allowed arrow key controls the game would be a lot better IMO. But I also prefer igp's management section over F1 online's.

have played this for awhile as team manager..the racing is so frustrating because so many people ram you off and the game crashes during the race sometimes..but overall its fun game!

The controls have improved, and the overall experience is a lot better now.

I know I've bumped a half-year old thread, and I'm sorry for that. :guilty:
