F10 and F2007

Just want to say its freakin ridiculous you can't use this car in any Unrestricted race in any spec mode. OR online in a free run(unless you have it set to F1 only) GT5 needs to seriously fix that. If the FGT can run in certain races so should these. There are some who worked hard to get them. Im sure there is a few threads about this already..

Yep, there are a few threads about this already. I do agree though, there should be at least a few races where you can use them. Hopefully we'll see a use for them in a future update.

Yeah, its ridiculous. It takes a good amount of time to make 10-12 million. Even getting to use it freely online would at least be a step. you cant even show your buddies once you have it. Hopefully enough people complain about it they will do something.
 
It is a shame, I'm currently saving up for one, I think it would be good if the time trial mode had online leaderboards, then you could use it for that.

I pray they will release an F1 special event, like the art of driving an F1 car. Why they didn't include this I don't know, it could be locked until you buy the car. And also an F1 ASpec event for the Ferrari F1 would be nice too, just someway to at least earn xp/credits without having to go online. Seems a waste of maybe the best car in the game!
 
Best tip is who ever has one is to have a room open for only F10 & F2007 races, it makes sense that way, but yeah not able t have it open to other cars does poo poo in my pants
 
I'm pretty sure it's for licensing reasons. They can include the material Ferrari car but I'd bet anything that resembles racing them, ie Formula 1 racing isn't allowed as they don't have the license.
 
Couldn't you race em in Prologue tho? I managed to unlock it and buy one in Prologue, but I can't remember racing it. I just time trailed it for lap after lap after lap and loved it! :)

I can't remember where I read it but basically the only reason current season (at the time of game release) Ferrari F1 cars are in GT5p/GT5 despite them not having the F1 licence is because it's Ferrari and they can pretty much do as they please, since they are F1. That is why Red Bull couldn't put their F1 car in even though they have the X2010 in.

thats ridiculous. because in prologue im pretty sure you can run them with other cars. But hopefully they will at least open them up for free run online. I saved up 12.5 mil for it.
 
That's so annoying, Red Bull F1 would have been so georgeous! Wish they had at least made a pretend F1 car that was a premium, then we could have had different coloured ones with rollbar cameras etc

I hate that the FIA are so strict with the F1 stuff, like they always remove YouTube videos even when it's just someone using a bit of F1 footage just for the love of the sport.
 
If F1 cars were unlocked that would mean that go karts would be unlocked too.
I would love to do go karts against cars!
 
Agreed, I would really love to race my F10 online. The formula gt is very fun, but it's a standard car and it's outdated. I want to race a real, up-to-date F1 car!

:eek:How about on the tight tracks? I can understand the FGT being quicker on the high speed tracks thanks to the extra power, but surely on the twisty ones like monaco the F10 would come into its own?

At Suzuka the FGT beats the world record.
 
Hopefully something might be done about it..if you can mix it up in GTP why not this one? And the F2007 handles much better and runs faster on most tracks. at laguna it even whoops on the fgt.
