Don't BUY an F1 car, you win Kimi's Ferrari 2007 when you reach level 40 in B-Spec. You can only race them in Arcade Mode against other cars that are the same or in Time Trial mode (practice) or on-line. There I just saved you 12.5Mil. In real life the 2010 had KERS which added about 200lbs to the car so if GT got it right I'd say the 2007 car is better. The 2007 is good fun to drive on tracks they don't run F1 cars too.

I prefer the F2007. It feels a lot better with the wheel. For some reason the F10 has this very bad shake in the wheel and I cannot tune the car to get rid of it. The F10 was a waste of 10 million for me because I never use it lol. For example on High Speed Ring, the F2007 for me sticks to the track like glue while the F10 always spins out, even if I back way off of the throttle. Had a race today at Cape Ring and was running 1.57s with the F2007 while the F10 was around 2.05 in practice so it's either me or the car.
The prize for completing b-spec level 40 is a Ferrari 2010 or Ferrari 2007 or an FGT. With the current seasonal payouts I don't see why you need to choose. Buy them all and find out for yourself which suits your driving style best. My preference is the F2007. Seems to me to have the best balance. Just be aware that the Ferraris are not eligible for much outside of a few seasonal events.
i find the F2007 to be one of the best cars in the game. but i also question it's downforce & handling.. i have it setup with all aids off and it still seems to grip too much, and i wonder if Ferrari had a hand in that as PD & Ferrari were negotiating its inclusion in the game. as i race it will all aids off, it feels like the aids are on. it's much harder to make a mistake in this thing than the FGT... at least that's my experience.
