Finding this a pain in the bum now, the tires get worn so quick & my aggressive racing style gets me spinning in the F1, i can deal wit it the first 3 or 4 times as im so far ahead of the rest of the pack, but i always end up exiting due to my pitting strategy being messed up. Any suggestions? What other car could be useful? maybe a different setup? any trick to slow down F1 tireware?
O, and before all the over excited members who love arguing about ppls posts give me any hassle, i did search but you cant search F1 cause its too short, and apricot hill comes up with way too many results for me to filter through without collapsing, so keep your hair on and dont have a spasm. Any help would be much appreciated.

sow down and the tires wont wear so fast.
dont be as agressive.

maintain your lead, but reduce it. your wear will be on par with the rest of the cars (if not better).
do accelerate too soon in the corners or you will spin out. plant your foot (finger) once almost out of the corner.
brake early and allow your momentum to carry you thru the corner rather than accelerating in the corner.

i hope this has helped.

** oh and find a suspension setting that allows for more even tire wear. :)

Looks like you know what holding you back.

If you’re not in the middle of a series you can use either GT-One Race Car, 787B or the R390 GT1 LM Race Car.

I pit about every 8-9 laps...try and be conservative with your tires, you should win easily even going that little bit slower, try to pit one lap later than the AI do, that should give you a good advantage.

My Tip For F1 Tire Wear

If it is a long course, set the car for fast cornering. If it is a short course, set the car up for reduced tire wear. I find the AI cars pit more often than not with longer courses, but this doesn't always work though. Run a couple of "QUALIFY" laps to see how the othe F1's pit. This doesn't take to much time.

I might give the 787B or R390 a go, with medium hard tires they should be pitting every 8-9 laps? will they be able to keep up and will the pitting advantage keep me 1st u reckon? ill just have to try it, the only thing i got left for completeion is this and tt10, tt10!
