F2007 vs F2010 at Monaco TT

What is the preferred Ferrari F1 car for the new TT? Im a bit of a noob to gt5 so I can only afford one if I want to hook in straight away. does one tune/drive considerably better than the other?
History shows the f2010 was about a second quicker in quali, but some of that time was due to the track being modified. The f2007 was a shorter wheelbase than the later model car which would suggest it may be more nimble at cote d'azur.
 
Observing general conversation I have heard from a lot of people say that the 10 is better at the tighter tracks while the 07 excels at the high speed stuff.
Just pick the one you like the look of, I am sure they will both destroy the time trial....OR ....if you were really bothered you could look at the top 10 results on the TT leaderboard and see which car is more prominent 👍
 
I just checked the top 10 and they are split 50/50 between the 2. Doesn't sound like either one would be a bad choice. Personally, I most often run out of talent before I run out of car
 
In that case I would go for the cheaper option (10) it looks better too IMO. Or the OP could trade for a level 24 ticket and get one for free 👍

I went with the f2010 & I see what you mean bout runnin out of talent, randoloid!...i got gold 1st lap but im way off the top 250 pace!

Considering how much I despise that track and how much I stink in formula cars... I just used the FGT, which is more than quick enough for gold. And the Ferraris have steering wheel shake with my DFGT.

I managed to make a complete lap on my fourth attempt. Gold and done.

Maybe if we're lucky they'll give us X cars at Kart Space next...
 
steering wheel shake with DFGT is a solved problem since one of the last update..
 
I've done a search and didn't find anything. Does anyone have a good tune for either Ferrari around Monaco?
 
I've run 1:13s with both cars and haven't really explored how much faster they will go. But, for me they both run about the same. It's a little difficult making the carousel turn with a wheel.

Here's a setup hint...drop your anti rollbars down to 3 f/r and adjust the suspension accordingly.
 
Any one know a wheel setup for dfgt on the f10 that isn't so...terrible. I'm on 5 and it's really wobbly and it feels like the gears are missing the teeth on the carousel, it just feels unstable.
Running these TTs makes me irritated about the lack of steering angle adjustment, not a huge fan of having to hand over hand in an f1.
