F2010 resolution problem. HELP needed fastF1 2010-2016

Hey dudes. Just bought F2010 today. Fantastic game. But i found out that my screen is only running 720p during the game? Normally its running 1080. Any way to change this in game? in all other games its running 1080 too
 
My F1 > Graphics > Resolution.
 
Hmm didnt work out. On PS3 there's is no such option as "Graphics". Any other ideas?
 
You're on PS3, why didn't you make mention of that before?

Go to "Display Options" in the XMB, or whatever that subset of options is called.
 
Okay, will try that out. But is it under My F1 still or where?
 
No, you have to exit the game and do it through the XMB.
 
As far as I know, the game is limited to 720p on the PS3 so it won't matter if your XMB settings are 1080p. I guess they already are soon as you play GT5 at that resolution.

This, it never supported 1080p.
 
Many games will go down to 720p when you play them because they don't support 1080p or 1080i. F1 2010 on PS3 doesn't support anything above 720p.
 
So, what they said then. I don't have it for PS3 so I obviously don't know what resolutions it supports.

Hmm well :D i saw the it was a singleplayergame but nothing else :D
 
On the back of every PS3 game box is a very small area that will tell you which resolutions are supported
