How do I win the F688/S???

I've unlocked and beaten all the Singe Race tracks in Hard mode and gotten 1st in all the time Time Trials and still no F688. Do I have to go back and do all the tracks again in Easy and Normal difficulty.

Thanks

Hey, welcome to GTPlanet!

Sorry to say, there are no Formula 1 cars in Arcade mode. You have to win them in Simulation mode and keep them in your Garadge. From there you can go back to Arcade mode and enter your garadge cars in Arcade races. If you are using modified cars, they will appear unmodified in the selection process, but when you enter the race you will notice that they are exactly as you left them. Keep in mind, Arcade mode does put miles on your garadge cars.

mjh8827, welcome to GTPlanet! :D

I noticed this today, the fact that it puts miles on your cars in arcade mode. Does this affect the oil in them as well? (in turn meaning engine life and so on) I would think not since it's arcade mode, but if the miles are going up..

I'm sure it does, it would be difficult to track all those little bits of miles.

Thanks for the welcome....

How come in all the lists of prize cars I've seen, under the Miscellaneous section it says

50% Game Complete -- Corvette C5R
75% Game Complete -- Mazda 787B
100% Game Complete -- F094/S
All Races in Gran Turismo Mode -- F688/S
Complete Time Attack Mode -- Esperante

Also in the Formula GT Championship u can win one, i have a black-purple one.

yep, you can also win it in some of the endurance races, but i wanted to know what "All Races in GT Mode " means... i.e. what races do i need to complete.

I do believe 'all races in gt mode' is beginner, amateur, and pro leagues, i could be wrong though

I believe that is synominous with "Simulation Mode" ... meaning everything that is not in Arcade mode.

Let me make sure you understand the difference between Arcade and Simulation... from the main menu there are to options at the top of the list. Those are the two different 'sections' of GT3. They are treated seperately in every aspect, except that you can use your simulation cars in 'most' Arcade races, and to achieve 100% Game completion you must finish the Arcade time trials and beat all the tracks (including the ones that are unlocked) on Hard setting.

If you really want that F688/S then go race in ROME CIRCUIT and you'll have the chance to win that car...

Here's another way:

Let's trade!!! :p :p :p

I know for a fact that it does affect oil. i was useing one of my F090/s for arcade races. Its the only one i have that has miles on it, and im trying to get it up to 3000 miles. so i did quite a few races in a row, without going back to sim mode. then i was raceing on one of the last couple of races and noticed that my oil light was on! and since i had not been in sim mode for quite some time, and i hadn't even used the F090/s in sim mode for days, i knew this was because of arcade mode. so yea, it sux :D
