Monster of a game!!

Its gameplay is revolutionary to say the least and its is so damn addictive.

You play as this bloke called Lukus Kane and you have quite simply commited a murder, but you don't quite remember doing it..
The twist is that you also play as the detectives trying to bust his ass to jail. So really you are hiding yourself from er... yourself.

Honestly though it is rock hard and totally gripping.

PLEASE DON'T LET THIS GAME BE A "WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN" GAME!!

Damn! Sorry, smelly. Looks like I killed your thread with my stupid joke. Quite possibly this one as well.........

Don't kill it! :P

By the way I'm waiting for this to drop in price, because I heard it can be finished in 6 hours with the first time playing through, 10 euros per hour is a bit too expensive for me. I rather go to a bar a couple of times with that amount of money. :D

I might get the PAL version myself. It has a 60hz selector doesn´t it?

Yeah it does and sorry didn't realise there was another thread!!

Yeah it can be completed quickly but theres like 5 endings i think...

Today I bought the game. It just came out here and I ran into it for 30 bucks. I'm sure the store priced it wrong because the day before I saw it for 50 in the exact same store in another city. I wasn't even planning on buying this, but at least I can sell it for 30 bucks when done with it. Maybe I'll keep it if I really like it, but I haven't played it yet so I have to find out about that later.

Sorry if theres already a thread for this, i did a search n couldnt fin anything.

got this friday, completed it today, lol. god was it short!

Is there more than 1 ending? is it worth playing again. i hav started playing again and it seems the same, except i keep dying of depression/insanity this time.

Good game, kinda like 24, just to short & repetetive

Bringing this back, can anyone asnswer my Q on whether this has alternate endings or not!??

It dont seem like it!?

May i ask how you go about getting them?

I've tried playing thru it differently and i keep dying of depresion. I tried saving Jade instead of the bad guys gettin her. & i tried saving my brother (he snuffed it on my 1st go).

Yes, it does have alternate endings.

That's about the only alternate thing in the game. The only real decission you make 10 seconds before the final movie matters. I finished the game twice and felt cheated... it's just a lot of cutscenes linking weak gameplay elements.

The game practically has a weak story for which a movie would have been bashed, crappy gameplay (just pushing random buttons, because of which you don't even see what is happening) and the worst thing is that it doesn't matter what you do during the entire game.

The 2nd time I played I did things completely differently and the story was still the same... bah.

I pretty liked it. It doesn't feature any novel findings, but somehow feels refreshing. I also liked the controls and those action scenes with pressing buttons Shenmue-style weren't dreadful at all (@ normal difficulty). Anyway, a good game. One should certainly try this one out for a change.

Try to sell it for a good price now you still can. I did after finishing it twice and the 2nd time felt more like a chore... just to see whether there would be ANY alternative storylines, but I didn't find one.

Played it. Finished it. Well, on PC at least.

The storyline is effing awesome, and the whole idea of a "Choose-Your-Own-Adventure" novel transformed into a game is sweet. Although the controls leave a lot to be desired and the reaction mini-games take away from the beautifully choreographed scenes. The graphics could use a touch up (or two) as well...

Why do you guys talk about "Choose your own adventure"? That's a plain lie from the developers. You only choose the ending, the entire adventure is completely static.

You do sort of choose your adventure, quite aA few things are down to you. I've started playing Resident evil 4 now, so i'll probably giv up on tryin 2 find a different ending.

It was a good concept but very flawed. it was a different way of making Shenmue, but making it knowhere near as good, although it has made me think alot about the game for some reason! lol, guess i quite liked the characters.

What do you have to do diferently then to get a different ending? everything i do its the same.
