Failure engine, brakes and suspension

Damage is sustained to. So if you crash your car then you'd have to pay to fix the damages, or leave them if time didn't permit. A bit like in WRC game where you have limited time between races to work on your car so you either A. have to learn to drive better or B.drive slower
 
Colin McRae rally 2005 had the exact thing on the game. The engine would cut out when damaged, the gears stopped working and the damage was realistic and only had a certain amount of time to fix the damage.
 
I would like to see brakes play a bigger role in GT like they do on real cars. That is something that helps people understand why it's better to have a car that over-steers instead of under-steers. If you cook the tires, you can make a pit stop, if you cook the brakes, your have a real problem. Why don't brakes fade the way the tires do?
