So, what has everybody seen or is planning on seeing? Any recommendations or anti-recommendations?

And note the title is New Shows. We all know everybody saw the House premiere for crissakes, and if you watched Dancing with the Stars I don’t want to hear about it.

Personally I’m planning on giving The Event and Lone Star a try.

With all the skin last night, House just felt like it was trying too hard.
My wife and I made it 10 minutes into Nikita and canceled the Season Pass.
Watched Hawaii 5-0 last night. Meh, but I'll give it another shot before I decide officially.
Next up - The Defenders and $#*! My Dad Says.

I watched the Event last night. It was alright. Not in any way a Lost replacement though like some people say.

Thursday will be a big night for me. NBC has their comedy night. And Outsourced is a new show. But I am extremely worried that Parks and Rec is not in the schedule!:scared: I hope it's not canceled!

Chase was pretty good if anybody saw it last night. The local NBC news was making a huge deal about it since it takes place in Houston. I could see myself tuning in on a weekly basis.

I also found out that Parks and Rec won't air until January. This Outsourced better be fantastic if it's holding off Parks and Rec!

I haven't watched the Event yet, its on the DVR.
Recording tonight will be The Biggest Loser
Parenthood and my GF got into Glee
Law & Order SVU tomorrow and The office coming up as well.

and Modern Family for one reason only

I haven't either until I found out at the MTV VMA's, well then again it's on a Friday :indiff:

I'm very interested in watching Tom Selleck's mustache play a police officer, and also whatever the name of the William Shatner show is that is on Thursdays. Other than those two shows, NCIS and Criminal Minds, I have no interest in any of the shows currently on the major networks.

NBC had their comedy night on Thursday as usual. Community and 30 Rock were as good as ever! But after that it dropped off a bit. The Office was just ok, which is a bit dissappointing. I feel like that show hasn't been as good since Jim and Pam got married. After that was a new show called Outsourced. I was very unimpressed with it. I still can't believe that NBC pushed back Parks and Recreation until next season for this!

The new season of Saturday Night Live starts tonight. Amy Poehler is hosting, so it should be good. The best SNL episodes are always the ones where a former cast member is the host!

Tom Selleck's Mustache's police drama was pretty good. It actually brought attention to and talked about Enhanced Interrogation Techniques (Tom Selleck's Mustache's son water-boarded some dude to find a kidnapped girl before she died from diabetic shock) in a more intelligent and even handed way than I've seen any other show handle the subject.

NCIS was great as well, with a clever (albeit somewhat predictable) gambit being set up for the ending.

The Criminal Minds episode was interesting, but the ending was telegraphed about 15 minutes in.

I taped the William Shatner show, but I haven't watched it yet.

Out of everything I got to see at Comic Con 2010, The Walking Dead had me most-excited, Hawaii 5-0 seemed a bit interesting. There was an announcement later on that Loke and Key would be getting a slot on Fox, but I'm not sure when that will happen. As one of my favorite comics, I am excite. For sure.
