Ok, I’ve got you all beat! I’ll see everything you’ve got and then raise you Antonio and Alberto!

How about the Speraficos? - brothers Ricardo, Rodrigo, Rafael and cousin, Alexandre.

I remember watching ages ago a thing on Alex Wurz on a build-up to an F1 race and it mentioned that his father, Franz Wurz, was a successful rallycross driver.

EDIT: extract from Wurz's Wikipedia entry:

Alexander Wurz (born 15 February 1974 in Waidhofen an der Thaya, Lower Austria) is an Austrian racing driver, currently driving for Williams in Formula One. He is the second son of former rallycross driver Franz Wurz, the European Rallycross Champion in 1974, 1976 and 1982.

Its been 5 days since it was last posted.Time to bump up this thread :trouble:

Well,i think there is on family in formula 1 that you could not forget. What about the Brabhams?Jack Brabham was a 3-time world champion. He has three son,Gary Brabham,David Brabham and Geoff Brabham.Another family would be the Surtees.John Surtees was the only formula 1 champion and the 500cc world championship. He has a son,Henry Surtees, who is currently in the Formula BMW UK series.Could be the rising star of the future.Who knows....

Who forgot them?
I'll see your Rosbergs and raise you the Brabhams. Sir Jack (father) and 3 racing sons Geoff, Gary and David.

We may have already mentioned the Surtees also ;)

Surtees, Lauda, Piquet and Prost all have sons who race too.

:ouch: Whoops!Sorry about that.I think i was getting too desperate there....but anyways,we have covered families who were in WRC,Formula 1,Touring cars, and even drag racing.Did we cover about families in Drifting?I know about the Millens,Gushi's and even the Suenaga brothers but what about other drifters?I don't know much about D1GP or even D1 australia. So if you know who they are, just tell bout them here :) (i may forget about other drifting families but if you want.you could still add other motorsport families in this thread)

Believe it or not, this is yet ANOTHER thread idea I had planned to release. So you know what? If I have a thread idea (no matter how stupid), release it so that nobody else can make them! By the way, my contribution to a familiar thread would be a general thread on families in racing.

As for generations of racers, I don't know too much about most families. I'm mostly accustomed to the Earnhardts and such. Dale, Dale Jr., Kerry, that sort of thing. Each generation is different. The generation racers will still have to perform at their best while upholding the name of the family he/she represents.

The Fittipaldis: Emerson and Wilson were brothers, Christian was son of Wilson. And like the Brabhams, he started his own F1 team, for which both brothers drove for. Unlike Brabham though, they never won an F1 race.

In NASCAR, there was the Allison family. Bobby and Donnie Allison, as well as Davey and Clifford (both sons of Bobby). Hut Stricklin, a Winston Cup racer in his own right, married Bobby Allison's daughter.
