A head on clash between these two huge cartoon shows. I know there has been threads like "What is your favorite cartoon show." However, I just want to know what people think about these two. Which do you prefer?

I think both Family Guy and The Simpson are down right hilarious. Nevertheless, I would have to give my vote to The Simpson.

BTW, Bart is the best!

I also think both are hilarious, but my vote has to go to Family Guy because they have no limits.
 
Family Guy is cool! I do have some question though; that little kid, how old is he supposes to be. He is the down right hilarious! :) He cuss all the time, and have no respect for his parents! Great show!
 
Stewie is great yeah :D Definitely the funniest character and makes the program.

I've got all 3 series' of Family Guy and i thought they were the best. BUT i started watching The Simpsons on TV again, and i have to say, i laugh more whilst watching The Simpsons. So my vote goes there.
 
The Simpsons are truely amazing. They have been on the air for about 13 years already, and I hope it don't get cancel anytime soon. But I have heard from alot of fans, that the older Simpsons were way better.

Family Guy is new compared to the Simpsons who have been out way longer than Family Guy have.
 
Simpsons have been on are for longer than 13 years, its more like 15! I voted for the simpsons because they just rock!
 
I think the simpsons used to be funnier in the past but in recent years they haven't been as funny. Family guy seem sto be on a steady pace.
 
You didn't include 'king of the Hill' in the poll! How could you?

King of the Hill suck.. :) In my opinion. Nothing is better than the Simpson or Family Guy. Although Futurama or whatever is pretty good. Seen a few episode.

Edit: I didn't include South Park either, well because its so different from both Simpsons and Family Guy. I also dislike it. I know its pretty famous for its cuss words and all that but its not that humorous.

Simpsons rule all! 👍
 
Futurama is quite good. But I don't think it has teh same family impact (although my 7yr old brother and 10 yr old sister love it) as the simpsons and family guy. And you did right not to include South Park as it is for a more mature audience. Then again my brother watched it at the age of 5 on T.V.
 
I don't think its appropiate for kids to watch stuff like South Park. Although my 8 year old sister love both Simpsons and Family Guy. TV have too much impact on kids today. You see little kids wearing very short skirts, gosh! Some parents dont care at all!
 
Family guy, the kind of randomness and stupidity makes it all worth it. simpson is starting to get too serious to me xD

Family guy ex. A boat is a boat! but this is a mystery box! it can be anything!...It could also be a boat! you know i've always wanted one of those!

The Simpsons are simply great. Family guy is funny, Stewie is the what makes that show. Futurama was okay, pretty funny but i don't think the humor was simpler. Simpsons rock! I have also noticed a slight decline in the level of Hilarity when i last watched it. but i hardly watch any TV at all anymore. *damn StarWars Galaxies!!!*

Neither does my family but it was a matter of he'd learnt to work the video player at 5. So he wondered what it was and managed to get it in the player and working. Luckily it was one of the less explicit ones.

As an average of the whole series', Family Guy is better. Family Guy is consistently hilarious throughout all 3 seasons (I own all 3 :D), while The Simpsons got progressively worse after season 9. The golden years of the Simpsons (Seasons 3-9, maybe 10) were much funnier than Family Guy, but after season 10, they sucked, which brings down the whole series.

IMO, the best Simpsons episodes ever are Boyscoutz in the 'Hood (season 4 or 5?) and Homer vs. The City of New York (Season 10, I would kill to see this again, They'll probably never show it again becasue they make fun of people in the Twin Towers...). The Best Family Guy Episode ever is Mr. Griffin Goes to Washington.

yeah, that sucks. can't blame them, i couldn't do it. but it's sad. are there any other Simpsons seasons out on DVD, i have Season1 but are others released yet?
 
I think they're up to Season 4 on the DVDs, you are way behind...

After watching every episode, it really isn't as good as The Simpsons. It would be better it there were more than 3 series', but they stopped at 3 and that sucks. Simpsons has more originallity. I mean, just watch Family Guy and see how many ideas, topics etc have been lifted from The Simpsons. Loads. I don't know if they're doing it on purpose, but it sure looks like it.
 
I love family guy i download every episode i can find. Stewie is hilarious. Brian has the hidden power to make u pee in your pants when he's drunk. Peter is the most retarded fool in the world! I hate meg !!!! and chris is coool.
Simpsons is ok but family guy out does that show.
futurama would be my second choice just because of bender and fry o and zoydberg, that guy is hilarious.
king of the hill is funny to, but most people don't the jokes. where else are you going to see a guy get humped by a dolphin and most of the plots are genius.
and i love south park too.
 
I love them both, a lot, but I have to say the Simpson's are better. I love Homer too much to vote for Family Guy.

I have seen every Family Guy Episode and every Simpsons episode. I laugh much harder in Family Guy episodes.
 
Hmmm. I guess, i dislike Family Guy because i own all three seires' and have watched every episode many times.

I've just spent a year away from home at uni and i had no tv. So i bought a lot of dvds to watch on my pc to keep entertained. I thinked i've over watched FG now. When i came home for the summer i got to watch loads of The Simpsons and i do prefer it. But that's just imo, i appreciate everyone has their own :)

Are you kidding? South Park is hilarious. Watch it more, you might change your mind.

I prefer the Simpsons; Family Guy can be extremely funny, but on the whole The Simpsons have gotten more laughs out of me.
 
I have watch more than enough South Park episodes. Seen 3 and dislike them all. I mean it might be funny once in a while but it don't grab me. They cuss too much also, I have a 8 year old sister who don't need to be hearing stuff like that.

Well I actually don't care if she does or not. Just want to sound older. :(
