Fanatec 911 wheel working after update?

Hey guys...

I'm trying to track down other users of the Fanatec 911 wheel to see if its working after the update.

I don't get any calibration check or any d-pad in the game anymore.

I emailed Fanatec support and they said to uninstall then reinstall without doing the update until PD comes out with another update.

This was one of my worries when deciding between a G25 and this.

You should of go with G25, then that ARCADE 911 wheel.. sorry to say. Not that Popular, and besides PD has Rights for LOGITECH (logicool) So they always try to update these wheels first before any other.

I've been looking into getting one of these wheels for a while. My g25 is wearing out.

Overall how do you like the wheel? Do any of you also have the G25 to compare it with?

I have the G25 and the Porsche 911 wheel. I love both, although the 911 wheel is much more fun to use. The 911 wheel's mounting system is also much more versatile.

Did the update last night and finished up my 2mm credits. Now i'm trying to tame the F2007 but alas no online races...booo! I think the PP was up near 1000.

There is an extra motor so when you touch the pedal the wheel vibrates in accordance to the gas pressure. Its a little change but a welcomed one. One that once you have it you might miss it.

The wheel is also thicker and has a more "realistic" feel. My biggest advantage is the wireless wheel and pedals. I play at my desk and having that versatility is welcomed. The only cable is for the power. I also like that the shifter is connected.

I sold my G25, on ebay after I recieved my Porsche wheel. I like it much better. It works great plus I guess since I am a Porsche "fanboy" owning 7 Porsches in the last 14 years. The porsche logo is a bonus for me.
