Thomas put on his blog a request for things we would like to see in the new year. I noticed somebody seemed to really want the 1080 degree the thrustmaster has. My question is where would one use that? I don't think I even use the full 900 on my fanatec on gt5. What do real race cars have?

Or maybe I am not racing right and that is why I don't use more than 900 degrees?

I don't think any real race car uses 900*, forget about 1080*. There are probably some road cars that have a lock to lock greater than 900* but at the moment it just seems like stats padding to me. Especially since when you are racing, even in road cars, you don't really want to reposition your hands just to spin it.

Of course I'm not saying wheels shouldn't increase the rotation they allow, since you can always change the lock down if you want, but I'm surprised many people are making such a fuss about it.
