Anyone havegood wheel settings for PGR4? The game has a huge deadzone that i cant tune out. Messed with the Dea and Lin settings and got no where. The only things that makes it slightly better is if i turn Sen to 200...but that stinks since i hardly have to move the wheel to turn.

Cars are just super unresponsive.

It's been a while, but I honestly don't remember there being a huge deadzone. That may be selective memory. As for sensitivity, that game predates Forza 3 and 900 degree steering on the Xbox 360. Sensitivity of 240-270 works best for me.

I decided to play PGR4 again to see if it's worse than I remembered. And it is. Way worse. The force feedback is quite dynamic and engaging, and the driving engine is tuned really well for muscling the wheel around and throwing the cars through powered drifts. But you're right, the on-center dead zone is huge. When you're actually trying to precisely place the car or make minor corrections it's incredibly difficult. What's really sad is PGR3 does not have on-center dead zone. PGR3's steering is still pretty poor though, as the linearity is messed up, so it's still difficult to make smooth, precise, minute corrections just off center.

Ah well picked it up in the bargin bin at game stop for 3.99. At least i can hop on the bikes and do wheelies and squid stunts. :sly:
