Fanatec Carrera and Logitech G25 noise comparison

I currently have a Fanatec 911 Carrera wheel. But sadly the pedals and my shifter are broken. They are just gathering dust now :grumpy:
So if I cant get a G25/G27 pedal, and a 6 speed shifter without buying the bundle from Fanatec website then I'll maybe consider getting the G25.

But whats holding me back is the noise. How loud is it compared to the Carrera wheel?

Thats got to be an early, well worn version of the G25. I currently have a PWTS but I had a 2008 model year G25 and it sounded like the G27 in that video......steering wheel wise and shifter.
 
What the heck is that sound when he yanks on the G27 wheel? Almost sounds like the teeth are grinding a bit of the cogs. :S

I bought the G25 when it came out, and have never been annoyed by the noise it makes. You don't really hear it, nor pay attention to it while you're playing. Yes, there are quieter wheels, but it really isn't an issue. Although if you play at night and somebody is trying to sleep in the next room, it might be a bit annoying. =)

I have a DFGT that sounds like the G25 in that video, but the only time i really noticed the noise is when I tried drifting with it for the first time

Well then at least I dont really do much drifting and if I do, It is usually during the day for some apparent reason.
