Just arrived from the postman...

No driving impressions yet as I'll have to come up with a mount.

Certainly seems built well, requires a fair amount of effort to pull, no hardware included but does come with two connection cables......one cable to connect via ClubSport pedals (verified to at least physically connect to my V1 unit) and one cable has a CAT connection which I assume will connect to a CSW base. Both Cables are long enough to accommodate the various mounting locations one will likely use on their rig.

For the money it's a great product.

Didn't you feel it was kind of light, when you took it out of the box. I know i did.;)

I made a deskmount myself, but it took me a lot of effort to mount it securely, like you mentioned it takes a lot of effort to pull it.

Love drifting with this in Grid Autosport.

Yeah it's nice and light but certainly sturdy. I foresee people wanting to swap out the spring to lower the effort
 
When the CSHB is mounted secure, the resistance is not too high, no need to swap the springs.

But you do need a sturdy mount.
 
What does it feel like with regard to side to side movement and flex of the hand-brake "arm" ?
 
No flex side to side that I can see on mine and its very light and sturdy. Its not a Manu Factory type product but its $99.

There is no side movement at all. No play side to side at all. No flex of the hand-brake arm in the "pull direction"

When mounted secure, the handbrake arm does flex side to side. They should have used 2mm or 3mm thicker aluminium for the hand-brake arm, but it has no effect on normal operation at all

Are you planning to support the CSHB, Mrbasher?

That is mostly what I was curious about. I had noticed it in a video that was posted some time ago. There were a bunch of people using it, one of them was a young girl. When she was pulling it it seemed to flex quite a bit laterally. At the time I figured it was partially due to her not normally pulling on a hand-brake. ;) I wouldn't imagine it would flew at all when being pulled vertically.

As for supporting it... I see no reason why I couldn't add support for it to my FS1 adapter. Outside that, I'm not sure what else I would do. ;)
 
Mounted mine on my Obutto rig today. Found a nice heavy gauge aluminum angle that I cut to the size required.....came out nice and solid.

Looks sweet, but a bit silly with the Formula rim attached. The angled aluminium seems perfect though, as if it was made for it. :)
 
Just gave it a go with Dirt 3 on XBOX 360.......works pretty sweet!
