Fanatec Clutch Pedal Broken!!

Hi guys, was playing with my Fanatec Carrera on GT5 about 15 minutes ago and my clutch pedal broke. I dipped the pedal in to change gear and something snapped inside. I am not sure if something really has snapped or the spring has gone, because it still works but I do not have to apply any force to get it down.

I guess it is just a spring, but I havn't heard anyone else have this trouble before? I will take the pedal set apart and have a look later...
 
Make sure the rod that holds the spring is screwed into the pedal. This happened to my gas pedal as it just popped out. But if the spring is broken, that's another issue...
 
Ok, it sounds like a screw is loose in it. I thought the spring may have came out but it sounds too small to be a spring.
