I am thinking about getting a wheel and was wondering if anyone has experience with the new clutch mechanics and the brake vibration functionality. How well does the new degressive clutch work? Do the vibrations work on the brakes and how much resistance does the oil add? Someone is selling a GT2 and elite pedals online but he didn't play GT at all. I don't have any experience with a wheel.

Brake vibration is not aligned with grip levels in game for GT5/6, instead, via the ABS setting on the wheel in to which the pedals are plugged you can set the vibration motor to rumble at a particular brake level (e.g. 65%). This gives your foot a lot of extra help when running with no ABS, I found it very handy. You can also create multiple profiles on the wheel with different rumble % settings and quickly switch between them.

Be aware that the CSR Elite pedals don't have rumble, only a load cell....

As for clutch: GT5/6 requires you to fully depress the clutch when changing gear, so the bite point on the CSPv2 is not very useful other than making the clutch feel nice when you press it: either way you need to fully depress the clutch each time you shift.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Elite pedals had the same circuit board as the CSP V2's. All you need is a PS2 Shaker motor and a way to mount it.
