Fanatec CSR don't keep tuning changes

Ok, I started messing around with my tuning presets on my wheel and noticed once I turn it off and later turn it back on the presets are back to default. It doesn't matter which preset I use (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) they always go back to default once I turn off the wheel. I am pressing the tuning button once I set everything and it plays fine..........until I turn it off....Any ideas.....BTW it has the original firmware (dont know the number but I have not changed it)

Yeah, I have 7.06 Firmware, have not updated to the latest. Here is where I got mine from. Read the instructions to the T, and you will be fine!

I checked once before and I think I have 706. Ive googled but how can you find out what firmware the wheel has..I remember it has to do with holding 2 buttons down

1. Enter stand-by mode. Tuning display shows “---“
2. Press the lower two red buttons and the buttons “A” and “B”
at the same time
In the Tuning display you first see the firmware version and then the default
status of the fan (“on” or “off&#8221
