I'm the proud new owner of a CSW wheel, and V2 pedals. I'm not sure if things are working 100% correctly or not.
When turning the wheel you can feel in move in "steps", like each cog on a wheel or tooth on a belt is engaging. Given that the CSW uses vertical grooved belts and most the reviews I have read mention how smooth the wheel is, I am wondering if things aren't setup right.
I have only tried NetKar Pro, so maybe being an older game that's the issue ?
I am running Windows 7 / 64 bit and had the 032 firmware and 144 drivers, but the rev LEDS were not working in NKP. I installed Fanaleds and it reported something like "unknown fanatec device".
I upgraded to the 152 beta drivers and 037 firmware and Fanaleds suddenly recognised the wheel and the rev lights worked in game.
FFB seems to work just fine, only it doesn't feel smooth when I turn the wheel.
Is this normal or am I expecting too much ?
If anyone has some settings for NKP and R3E (which I hope to try tonight) could you post them here ?
