How can I tell what firmware version is on my wheel?

I just bought a new GT3RS in November and I'm not sure what firmware version it has. It is missing a couple of adjustments so I'm guessing it isn't the most current, but I'm wondering if I can find out what version it does have.

I am not sure if it is the same on the GTRS3, but on the PWTS you hit all 4 of the bottom buttons when the wheel is in standby mode.

Though...

Does the GTRS3 even have a standby mode?

.

It would be much more helpful if we had images. I have the same problem as the OP and I can't figure out how to do it.

I don't have a picture, and I see how my vague 4 lower buttons could be confusing.

When looking at the wheel, you have four main silver buttons on the left side, four on the right, and then you have the d-pad and 2 more buttons all the way at the bottom.

You want to press the bottom 2 from the group of 4 on the left side of the wheel, and at the same time press the bottom 2 from the group of 4 on the right side of the wheel.

You need to switch the wheel on, when it does its start up rotation, catch it before it returns to center and hold the 4 bottom buttons as described above, manually move it to the center and it will display the firmware, and turn off or switch on the fan (depending on your firmware version.)
