Fanatec formula v2 on CSL DD?

Hi guys,

I just upgraded from a CSL Elite wheelbase + formula V2 rim to a CSL DD, and I hope I'm wrong here…but did Fanatec provide no way for users to map the MFD controls to the funky switch, as I could with the CSL Elite?

If so that would mean (I assume) all users of the CSL DD with a rim other than the DD Pro will have no way of adjusting brake bias etc, which seems like something of an oversight, no?

Anyone found a workaround for this?

Demo.

I don't think that's on fanatec as much as PD not allowing mapping for wheels other than GT specific ones.

On my GT DD Pro I can map the MFD controls to the funky switch (McLaren GT3 wheel). It already worked as my D pad, so I just mapped it accordingly.

Can you describe how you did that? I’ve tried remapping the wheel in GT7 as the DD Pro, but I can’t seem to map the funky switch to the MFD.
