Ok I replaced my thought from yesterday with a mini review of sorts since some people were asking for more feedback. Let me know if you have any questions.
My wheel history:
Xbox wireless wheel
Logitech DFGT
Logitech G25
Bought and returned a G27 before buying the GT2
My Current Gear:
Playseat Evo A1GP
Fanatec GT2 Wheel
Fanatec ClubSport Pedals
Fanatec Red ClubSport Color kit
Buttkicker Gamer 2
Mitsubishi 73" 73837 1080P 3D
Sony 7100ES Reciever
PS3
Xbox 360
RealD Crystal Eyes 4 3D Glasses
Boston Acoustics Lynnfield L, R, C
Velodyne 2700W Sub
Def Tech LS, RS, LR, RR
Ok here is a bit more info on my experience. I wouldn't call it a comprehensive review but maybe a preview lol. I now have approx 7 hours on the wheel(and 3 hours of sleep and a full day of work!) 6 hours of GT5 on the PS3 and 1 hour of Forza 3 on Xbox 360.
Let's talk about the components. First the Wheel just feels awesome. It is approx 12" in Diameter(a guess) but I would also guess it to be a full inch larger than the G25 I used to have. The wheel is also thicker, I would guess approx 1/2". It feels great and I think I will love having long sessions on it as my hands feel great after a 3 hour session last night and 4 hours today. The one possible negative might be staining over time with the Alcantara leather being kind of like a suede. Not sure if that will be a problem some of the GT3 guys can chime in on that. Though to me that leather is a real plus and adds to that car feel! The build quality is great very solid no flaws that I can see. It mounted straight to my playseat Evo with the Logitech screw holes so that is a definite change for the better!!! I actually drilled holes according to the Fanatec drill guide and then found I didn't have to use them LOL.
The Force Feedback motor is the strongest I've ever felt. The Belt driven motors are super strong and also quieter than anything I've used before. Easily the best feel for the road that I have felt. I'm using the ClubSport Aluminum Shifters now and they feel great, nice and large and easy to use. Having a screen on the wheel and being able to adjust settings such as Force Feedback, Drift, Rotation, ABS, etc. on the fly is just awesome. You can fine tune your wheel in the middle of a game without going to the menu.
Negatives: really only one and that is the clamping system. I don't really like it at all but that is not an issue for me since I have it hard mounted. I don't think I would like the feel if I had it clamped without the screws.
As far as individual games. GT5 feels really good. The Force Feedback is not as strong as on Forza 3 which I think feels a little better, but that's the game and not the wheel.
I think you guys know all about the ClubSport Pedals so I won't go to far into them other than to say simply amazing best pedals I've ever used and it's not even close. I think they give you a real edge.
I am posting better lap times then I have ever had to date with just my limited use so I'm very very happy. Overall so far I have to say I don't regret the $500 spent one bit. Great wheel! I will post more feedback after I have more time with the wheel.

Used the Buttkicker for the first time tonight(LOL I was real happy when UPS showed today!) It's pretty awesome and definitely a worth while investment. Now just waiting for January to get my shifters in from Fanatec.
